KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER P F
The only way of how to successfully transfer knowledge is by transparent and frequent communications to our customers in order to understand their needs required by marked. P4F has two main operating models of how knowledge is being transferred: By organizing events (seminars, forums, etc.) By organizing workshops with customers When it comes to the first operating model (organizing events) we can proudly say that our NordicPetFood events after being established some 3 years ago are experiencing extraordinary feedback every year. Such platform is an excellent way of how different actors in a supply chain can meet and exchange their thoughts and values, present their businesses which can often bring to a new joint venture. Nevertheless, this would be an excellent place to promote products, concepts, ideas, and all in front of an audience who share similar, if not the same, needs from these fast growing and changing markets. Our second operating model is based on more close relationship between us and a client. After knowing client`s demands from a market and based on some ongoing challenges we organize workshops from our areas of expertize (nutrition, formulation, processing technology, technical feed quality, ingredients functionality and their proper use during process, etc.) and all in order to improve existing knowledge level for critical areas for time being and from a customer prospective. For instance, if our client is struggling with a technical feed quality we would be organizing a workshop where our knowledge from key elements throughout this process would be transferred and all for a purpose of raising awareness of how important is to pay attention to different steps in a production line in order to complete and satisfy high customer demands. Another example would be in not knowing much about a new raw material that entered a silo at a client`s site. Today`s fast growing and changing market puts us often in a challenging situation where we sometimes choose a new ingredient without knowing much about it. A one thing is to know about nutrients composition but how it will such ingredient behave throughout processing line followed with so many different and almost equally important sub-unit operations. We are here to offer to you a screening of such ingredient describing functional properties which may be of help during processing by using this ingredient according to previously described properties.
